I have waited all my life for this moment

The moment where I can make you mine
The day I can talk to your heart
The second when I can see you smile
The day when I can see you smile

The time when I can be your soul

I wait to hear your voice
I linger to be your friend
I want to be the reason for your smile
I want to be the best part of your life
I dream to be your loved one

I stare at the sun which is slowly trying to hide behind the stream of water as if it wants to run away from me
Telling me to let go of my dreams in the darkness that is slowly covering the sky, making my world as dark as the night sky

I look at this dark night which has removed every ray of light from the sky and my heart. In the midst of it all, I see a brightly shining star similar to the one shining in my heart.

Maybe, Im the one who made the best mistake of my life by falling in love with you but I promise to love you with every breath of mine till the last time I breathe on my death bed.

You are my world and my world starts and ends with you. This heart of mine only has a place for you and no one else.

I have waited for you and I will wait for you for the rest of my life.
